Therapeutic Baths!

My Grandmother Savannah use to refer to showers as a “monkey bath”!  OMG! She was right AGAIN! Actually, that is what life eventually showed me about having the blessing of elderly wisdom, their insights and lifestyles were and are still on point with reverent truth and wisdom that remains TIMELESS!

Among the most fond memories I hold of my Grandmother Savannah is the preparation of the baths!  The house was made warm, the handmade soap was her own recipe from generations and the water seemed as sacred as the waters of Egypt or India or Turkey!  I never wanted bath time to end! The medicinal oleation of the body is another important aspect of bathing which I will hold for another blog.

That said, I am sharing the essential blessing of allowing your body temple to reset and be whole again within your home or the spa you frequent!

The qualities of therapeutic baths are immeasurable.  A therapeutic bath is eversopersonal.  It is like a favorite recipe.  Once you start embracing the natural course of your new found awareness to honor, care, treat and respect your body, the ingredients that go into a bath are like a mini-vacation! What do I feel like today?  A ginger root bath to warm a cold constitution!  A honey inspired bath to restore and hold moisture to the body!  A herbal bath blend to soak in after a serious workout!  A Dead Sea Salt bath that bestows 18 plus minerals to a depleted body!  In short, a bath becomes your best friend.  It is the ‘go to’ Me Myself & I faceless friend offering unimaginable and unwavering results for you to become a better YOU!  Water holds the rejuvenating power as the go between of both worlds where inner and outer beauty is TIMELESS!  It reintroduces you to what matters most about your BECOMING!  As I have said, “Therapeutic bodywork is a superb reminder that we are more than our present circumstance.”  So it is with the Healing Waters of a Therapeutic Bath that you merge with to regain your centered innate qualities to masterfully manage life.  Like a journal, the sessions you realize in baths become an ongoing event of personal evolution!

In the 1950’s, physician studies concluded that authentic salts extracted from the Dead Sea have a proven therapeutic effect on skin ailments such as psoriasis and eczema. The University of Jerusalem has provided evidence that Dead Sea Mineral Salts also stimulate circulation and encourage the skin to renew itself. In addition, subcutaneous penetration helps relieve aches and pains in joints and muscles, providing much relief for those who experience rheumatism and arthritis. The body has a great opportunity to restore itself to health, relaxation and joy!   TO LIFE! NOW!

In order for life to flourish, water must be treated as though it were alive

because water is as alive as you and we are as alive as our waters.
